Bandera de Venezuela 1811 (Venezuela) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design depicts the banner of 1811, the first national flag of Venezuela, built on a horizontal tricolour of yellow, blue and red and set with a seated figure, a rising sun and a crocodile.

Visual Elements & Composition

Yellow, blue and red share the field almost evenly, with a little brown in the artwork. The horizontal tricolour forms the base of the design, and a rectangular canton sits in the corner. Within the scene, a seated Indigenous figure holds a staff, a sun rises over the sea and a crocodile rests on a rock. A ribbon banner carries the lettering VENEZUELA LIBRE, and the word COLOMBIA also appears in the artwork. The flat vector shapes keep the scene clear and bold.

Meaning & Symbolism

The 1811 banner was adopted by the Congreso Constituyente in July of that year, shortly after Venezuela declared independence from Spanish rule on 5 July 1811. It was hoisted in Caracas on 14 July. The tricolour traces back to Francisco de Miranda, the precursor of the independence movement, who drew on the colours he had used in his 1806 expedition. The sunrise points to a new beginning, and the seated figure and crocodile bring the landscape and the people of the region into the story of self-determination.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and is held close, so the tricolour and the sunrise are read at eye level as the glass is raised. The bright yellow and red stand out through the clear glass, and the figure and crocodile are discovered in small details with each pour.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
