Bandera de Venezuela 1836-1859 (Venezuela) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This shot glass recreates the national flag of Venezuela as it flew between 1836 and 1859, when the young republic had standardised its colours and its emblem.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three horizontal bands of yellow, blue and red run across the field, each set to an equal width so that no colour dominates. In the upper left corner of the yellow stripe sits the national coat of arms, drawn as a shield with a sun above it, a white horse, and laurel and palm branches framing the shield. A red ribbon banner completes the emblem. The style is flat and graphic, with crisp edges and strong colour blocks.

Meaning & Symbolism

The flag dates from the period after Venezuela separated from Gran Colombia. The decree of 20 April 1836 fixed the proportions of the flag and the design of the coat of arms, giving the nation a permanent set of symbols. The sun, horse and laurel and palm stand for liberty and sovereignty, the values that defined the republic in its formative years. The design ended with the outbreak of the Federal War in 1859.

Handled Close, Read Up Close

A shot glass is small and held in the hand at close range, so the flag's bands and emblem reach the eye at arm's length. The 1.5oz size gives the coat of arms room to read clearly on the curved side of the glass, and the heavy solid base sits steadily on the bar while the design is raised toward the viewer.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
