Bandera FE JONS (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This shot glass shows the historical flag of the Falange Española de las Juntas de Ofensiva Nacional Sindicalista, a red and black design with the yoke and arrows at its centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

The flag is built from two bold colours, red and black, which make up almost the whole field. The red takes the larger share, and the black provides the contrast that holds the emblem. At the centre sits the yoke and arrows, a bundle of five arrows bound by a yoke, which is the single emblem of the design. There is no other lettering or figure, so the composition is compact, flat and graphic.

Meaning & Symbolism

The yoke and arrows, or yugo y flechas, was first used by the Catholic Monarchs, Isabella and Ferdinand, in the fifteenth century, and it came to stand for Spanish unity and the country’s imperial history. The flag was adopted in October 1934, when the Falange Española merged with the Juntas de Ofensiva Nacional Sindicalista. It is a historical emblem of that 1930s political movement, and the design is shown here as a record of that period.

On the Shot Glass

A 1.5oz shot glass is small and held close, so the emblem is seen at eye level as the glass is lifted. The red and black shapes read clearly through the clear glass, and the simple, central arrangement suits a glass that is turned in the hand and set back down on the shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
