Bandera Histórica de la República Mexicana 1824-1918 (Mexico) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A vertical tricolour of green, white and red, with a central coat of arms, recreates the national flag used by the Mexican Republic between 1824 and 1918.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three equal vertical bands of green, white and red divide the field evenly, so no single colour dominates. The white centre band carries the emblem, which sits at the midpoint of the flag in a balanced, symmetrical layout. The central motif shows an eagle perched on a cactus with a serpent, framed by a laurel branch and a ribbon at its base. The rendering is flat vector style, with clean edges that keep the emblem readable even at small size.

Meaning & Symbolism

The tricolour was the national flag of the Mexican Republic through the nineteenth century and into 1918, and the eagle-and-cactus emblem is the traditional Mexican coat of arms of that era. The eagle on the cactus with the serpent draws on the founding legend of Tenochtitlan, while the laurel recalls victory and national honour. The design is a historical record of how the nation presented itself in its formative decades.

Held in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the emblem reads best at arm's length as the glass is lifted. The three vertical bands sit cleanly around the curve of the glass, and the central coat of arms becomes the focal point each time it is turned toward the room.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
