Bandera republicana ondeando (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the tricolour of the Second Spanish Republic caught mid-ripple, three horizontal bands of red, yellow and purple rolling across a diagonal pole.

Visual Elements & Composition

The three stripes carry the image. Red sits at the top, a broad band of yellow lies in the middle and purple closes the bottom, with the bands gently curving as if the wind is passing through them. A pole crosses the frame on the diagonal, and the flat vector style is given light posterised shading, so each colour keeps its edge and the folds of the cloth read as movement.

Meaning & Symbolism

This tricolour was officially adopted on 27 April 1931, when the Second Spanish Republic took the place of the monarchy. The purple stripe was included to represent Castile, giving the flag a regional as well as a national reading. Its colours and layout became a central emblem of the republican years, and the design preserves that moment as a historical symbol of Spain.

Shot Glass Presentation

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag is seen in its full movement only when the glass is lifted and turned. The curved bands of colour sit naturally on the rounded wall of the glass, and the diagonal pole gives the composition its energy. It is a conversation starter for a home bar, where the history of the flag can be told one glass at a time.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
