Banner Babenhausen Hessen (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the banner of Babenhausen, a municipality in the German state of Hesse, as a red, white and red vertical triband with a quartered coat of arms at its top.

Visual Elements & Composition

The banner is a triband in a ratio of roughly one to four to one, with red at the edges and a wide white stripe in the middle. Thin yellow lines separate the red sections from the white. White dominates the surface, and the coat of arms is placed near the top of the central stripe. The shield is quartered, with its red chevrons, gold, silver and black elements drawn in flat vector shapes that keep each division crisp and easy to read.

Meaning & Symbolism

The arms commemorate a union made in 1310, when Ulrich von Hanau married Agnes von Hohenlohe and the town passed into Hanau hands. One quarter carries the three red chevrons of the Lords of Hanau on gold, and the other the two black leopards of the Lords of Hohenlohe on silver. The banner was formally adopted on 30 April 1981, so the design brings a medieval marriage and a local line of lords into a modern civic emblem.

In the Palm of the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the quartered shield is seen at close range as the glass is lifted. The vertical bands run around the curve of the glass, and the arms turn into view with each tilt, which makes a precise heraldic emblem a good match for a small, hand-held vessel.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
