Banner Bad Nauheim (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the banner of Bad Nauheim in the German state of Hesse, a red, white and red vertical triband with the city's coat of arms at its centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

The layout is a vertical triband in red, white and red, with the white band roughly four times the width of each red band. Red and white make up nearly all of the artwork, with small touches of blue, black and yellow in the crest. The shield sits in the middle of the white band and is the one element that breaks the stripes. Its flat vector shapes are plain and easy to read, so the stripes and crest stay distinct at small size.

Meaning & Symbolism

The crest packs three local stories into one shield. A fountain recalls the town's long history as a spa and resort. A bar of salt crystals points to salt mining, which goes back to the 14th century. A striped demi-lion stands for the Counts of Hanau-Lichtenberg and for the town's place within Hesse. The banner was adopted in 1948, and it has served since then as the civic emblem of Bad Nauheim.

Carried in the Hand

A shot glass is small and is lifted close to the face, so the triband reads as a clean band of colour and the crest comes into focus as the glass is turned. The fountain and salt bar sit at the centre of the glass, where the eye lands first. Each glass shows the banner in full, which suits a shelf of souvenirs from the same region.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
