Banner Breidenbach (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the banner of Breidenbach, a municipality in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district of Hesse, as a blue and white vertical bicolour with the municipal arms set near its top.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue and white fields divide the banner evenly down its length, giving it a calm, balanced structure. The coat of arms sits at the top of the design and is built from a few clear shapes: a wavy diagonal band running across the shield and a small golden wolf trap. The gold and black accents are used sparingly, so the shield remains the focal point against the bold bicolour.

Meaning & Symbolism

The wavy band is a canting symbol, playing on the German word for creek, Bach, and so it speaks to the watercourses that run through the municipality. The golden wolf trap is drawn from the heraldry of the medieval Barons of Breidenbach, whose seat stood on the Breidenstein. Adopted in 1981, the banner carries that medieval lineage into the present, linking local identity to the land and its waters.

Holding the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the blue and white bands read as a clean stripe when the glass is lifted. The shield and its wavy band come into view as the glass is turned in the hand, rewarding a closer look. It is an apt way to keep the old heraldry of Breidenbach within easy reach.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
