Banner Bromskirchen (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design presents the banner of Bromskirchen, a former municipality in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district of Hesse, as a red and white vertical bicolour with the local arms placed toward its top.

Field & Heraldic Arrangement

Red and white fill the banner in broad vertical bands, and the coat of arms sits high in the design. Its two halves are set against different grounds: a golden sword on black on one side, and a black lattice with a golden bar on silver on the other. The palette is traditional, with red, white, black, gold and silver all used with restraint, so the split shield stands out clearly against the bicolour.

Meaning & Symbolism

The sword on the left stands for the local patron saint, St Martin, and its cross doubles as a play on the name element "-kirchen", meaning church. The lattice and bar on the right are derived from the arms of the Lords of Winter, who ruled the area from the fifteenth to the eighteenth century. The black and silver tones also recall the Counts of Battenberg. The arms were approved on 12 November 1982, and the banner has been in use since about 1983.

Holding the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the red and white bands read as a single bold field when the glass is lifted. The divided shield is most rewarding up close, where the sword and the lattice can be picked out as the glass is turned. It is a tidy way to carry the story of a church village and its old lordships to the table.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
