Banner Fronhausen (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A red and white vertical banner forms the field for the municipal arms of Fronhausen, a wavy bend, an eagle's wing and seven lozenges set on the flag's bicolour ground.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red and white divide the banner into two vertical fields, with red the stronger of the two. The coat of arms sits across that split, and its shapes are flat and clear-edged: a diagonal wavy bend, a wing and a cluster of seven lozenges. Each element is separate and easy to pick out, so the emblem reads at a glance rather than dissolving into the bicolour. No lettering appears in the design.

Meaning & Symbolism

The wavy bend stands for the Lahn River, which runs through the municipality. The eagle's wing comes from the arms of the Reeves of Fronhausen, a family tied to the place. The seven lozenges count the seven former communities that now make up Fronhausen: Fronhausen, Sichertshausen, Bellnhausen, Erbenhausen, Hassenhausen, Holzhausen and Oberwalgern. The arms in this form were approved on 14 June 1982, and the lozenges in particular carry a sense of unity built from separate villages.

Fitted to the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the banner is read when the glass is lifted to eye level. The red and white split runs down the curve of the glass, and the seven lozenges sit where the eye can count them in one look. Simple, sharp shapes like these hold their outline on a small, curved surface, which suits a Hesse municipal emblem kept on a home bar or a travel shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
