Banner Gorxheimertal (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the municipal banner of Gorxheimertal, a community in the Bergstraße district of Hesse, Germany, in its formal heraldic form.

Visual Elements & Composition

A vertical triband of red, white and red runs the length of the banner, at an approximate ratio of 1:4:1, so the broad white centre dominates the field. The municipal coat of arms sits near the top of the central white stripe: a red shield bearing a silver watermill wheel and a silver Greek cross fitchy, with a wavy base in silver and blue. Bold red, white and silver give the piece its clean, high-contrast look, and the flat vector finish keeps each element sharp.

Meaning & Symbolism

The silver watermill wheel and the wavy base stand for the Grundelbach creek and the mills that have run along it, the source of the valley's working life. The silver cross fitchy records the municipality's historical ties to Lorsch Abbey. The banner was officially approved on April 16, 1977, so it carries the formal authority of a modern German municipal emblem alongside its older local symbolism.

Shaped for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the banner reads at arm's length before the shield draws the eye up toward the rim. The triband wraps the glass evenly, and the coat of arms lands within the upper part of the body, where it stays visible each time the glass is raised.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
