Banner Grasellenbach (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the municipal banner of Grasellenbach, a community in the Bergstraße district of Hesse, Germany, with its coat of arms set on a red, white and red triband.

Visual Elements & Composition

A vertical triband of red, white and red runs the length of the banner, at an approximate ratio of 1:4:1, so the white centre stripe carries the design. The coat of arms sits toward the top of that white stripe and is divided diagonally into four fields: a gold lion rampant on black at the top, two silver wavy bars on red at the base, and a red linden leaf on gold in each side quarter. The flat vector treatment keeps the lion, leaves and bars sharp against the bold ground colours.

Meaning & Symbolism

The lion rampant is the lion of the Palatinate, carried over from the former municipality of Hammelbach, while the silver wavy bars stand for the brooks that run through the local landscape. The red linden leaves mark the area's own natural character. The coat of arms was approved in 1974, and the banner was officially adopted on May 18, 1978, so the emblem reads as a settled symbol of regional identity and local heritage.

Carried in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the coat of arms is read at arm's length and then up near the eye as the glass is lifted. The triband wraps the body evenly, keeping the red and white stripes in view from any side as the glass is turned.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
