Banner Hattersheim am Main (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This flat vector design shows the banner of Hattersheim am Main in Hesse, a quartered field of red and white with the town's coat of arms set at the centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red is the dominant colour at about half the field, with white close behind and blue as a smaller accent. The banner is quartered, with smaller upper quarters, and the arms sit where the quarters meet. The shield is parted diagonally, so one half carries a red lion and the other a blue field with a silver fleur-de-lis. The layout is formal and balanced, with the crossing lines drawing the eye to the centre.

Meaning & Symbolism

The red lion rampant on a silver field is taken from the seal of Knight Rupert von Heydersheim, dated 1248. The fleur-de-lis on blue stands for St. Mary, drawn from a seal of 1675. The palette reflects the rulers who shaped the region: silver and red for the Archbishops of Mainz, the colours of Hesse, and blue for the houses of Falkenstein and Nassau. The city's arms were approved in 1963, and the banner was adopted on 27 April 1964.

In the Hand and on the Shelf

A shot glass is small and held close, so the quartered pattern and the crest are best seen at arm's length, in the hand, as the glass is raised. The strong red and white read clearly on the curve of the glass, and the lion and fleur-de-lis stay sharp enough to pick out across a bar or a shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
