Banner of Bavaria-Landshut (Germany) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design brings the lozenge banner of the Duchy of Bavaria-Landshut to a small, rhythmic two-tone pattern of blue and white diamonds.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue and white lozenges, the diamond shapes known in heraldry as lozenges, tile the field in a regular, repeating grid. Blue carries the largest share of the surface and white sits alongside it in equal rhythm, with small accents of black, yellow and red in the heraldic emblem. A rampant lion appears among the quadrants, and the layout stays flat and formal, with no lettering in the composition.

Meaning & Symbolism

The blue and white lozenges belong to the House of Wittelsbach, which took the motif from the Counts of Bogen in 1242. The pattern was used throughout the existence of the duchy, from 1353 until its annexation in 1503, and it became one of the most recognisable dynastic signs of late medieval Bavaria. Each diamond carries that long line of rulers, which is why the design still reads as a regal emblem.

Small Glass, Repeating Diamonds

A shot glass is small enough to hold in one hand, so the diamonds are seen close, one at a time, as the glass turns. The repeating grid wraps neatly around a curved wall, and the blue and white contrast stays crisp at this scale. It is a bold piece of Bavarian heritage that fits easily on a bar shelf or a windowsill.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
