Banner of Jan III Sobieski (Poland) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A red royal banner carrying a crowned white eagle, drawn in flat vector style with the emblems of the late seventeenth-century Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red covers most of the field, and the white eagle with spread wings takes the centre. A gold crown sits above it and gold talons finish the figure. On the eagle's breast is a small red shield with a magenta field, which carries the personal arms of the king. The overall layout is square and formal, with the eagle dominating and the smaller shield placed where the eye settles last.

Meaning & Symbolism

The white eagle has been the national emblem of Poland since the eleventh century. During the reign of Jan III Sobieski, from 1674 to 1696, royal banners combined it with the Pahonia of Lithuania and with his family arms, the Janina, a gold ring on red. The mix of national and personal emblems reflects the sovereignty of the Commonwealth in his time.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the eagle and its crown come into view at the moment the glass is raised. The strong red field shows through the clear glass, and the central figure is large enough to read at a single glance across the table.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
