Banswara flag (India) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A solid red field inside a thick yellow border, the historical flag of the former princely state of Banswara in Rajasthan.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red covers most of the design, about two-thirds of the flag, while a heavy yellow border frames it on every side. The layout is nothing more than a rectangle inside a rectangle, so the eye goes straight to the contrast between the two colours. There are no figures, lettering or ornament, and the flat vector treatment keeps the edges crisp at any size.

Meaning & Symbolism

Banswara was a princely state in Rajasthan, founded in 1527 and ruled by the Sisodia (Suryavanshi) clan. The red field and yellow border speak to that Rajput heritage and to the sovereignty the clan held over the state. The flag was in use through the princely era and was retired in 1948, when Banswara acceded to the Union of India. Red and yellow carry strength and traditional authority in this design, which is why it reads as a flag of the old order rather than a modern civic emblem.

In the Hand, Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the red and yellow are seen almost at once, with the border turning around the curve of the glass. The clear body lets the colour show through on the bar or shelf. It is a direct way to keep a piece of Rajasthan's princely history on display.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
