The 93rd New York Infantry was part of the Union Army and saw significant action throughout the conflict, particularly in major battles such as Gettysburg, Spotsylvania Court House, and Cold Harbor. Company A's presence in Bealeton provided strategic support for Union operations in Virginia, contributing to the eventual Union victory in the Civil War.
