Blessagno-Stemma (Italy) Shot Glass: Design Description

This shot glass showcases the official coat of arms (stemma) of the Italian municipality of Blessagno, a striking visual representation of the town's history and geography.

The Shield

The central element of the design is the shield, "partito" (divided) horizontally by a wavy azure (blue) line. This line gracefully echoes the curves of the "Teli" streams, which carved out the Intelvi Valley and gave the valley and Blessagno its name.

Left Field

The left half of the shield bursts with a vibrant "di rosso" (red) background, a color that connects to historical and administrative ties, including the provincial capital. Upon this red field stand two vertically-arranged "argento" (silver/white) stars.

Right Field

The right side of the shield presents a "di verde" (green) field. This verdant backdrop pays homage to the mountainous, lush terrain that surrounds Blessagno. Upon this stands a majestic "d'oro" (gold) lion, its claws and tongue rendered "di rosso" (red), echoing the heraldry of noble families with historical links to the town.

Overall Composition

The coat of arms, a symbol of civic pride, uses a vibrant array of colors and elements to express Blessagno's unique heritage. It is framed with external civic ornaments, which are the typical design for Italian municipalities.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
