Bourbonic banners - Spain (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat vector rendering of the white royal ensign used under the Spanish Bourbon kings, its shield of kingdoms set on a clean white field.

Visual Elements & Composition

The white field dominates the banner, and the royal coat of arms sits at its centre. The shield is quartered and crowded with heraldic charges: a gold castle with towers, a red lion rampant beneath a crown, gold and red stripes, a gold-ringed cross lattice and a pomegranate with leaves. A smaller inescutcheon at the centre shows three gold fleurs-de-lis on blue. The palette runs red, gold, white and royal blue, with a little green.

Meaning & Symbolism

The quarters stand for the Spanish kingdoms of Castile, León, Aragon, Navarre and Granada, brought together under one crown. The fleurs-de-lis on blue mark the Bourbon-Anjou line, whose white field was the dynastic colour of the House of Bourbon. The white ensign was flown from the accession of Philip V in 1700 until 1785, when Charles III adopted the red-yellow-red Rojigualda to be seen more easily at sea.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield is read up near the eye, with the gold charges catching the light as the glass turns. The bright white field makes the arms stand out clearly at this size. It is a royal emblem reduced to a pocket of colour, something to hold rather than to look up at.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
