Brasil estado 014 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) White Coffee Mug

A flat black pentagon route marker holding the number 14, printed large across the middle of a white mug.

Visual Elements & Composition

The palette is black on white, with the white covering most of the design. The pentagonal badge is the only shape, drawn in clean flat vector lines and set centrally so it reads from across a table. The numeral 14 dominates the badge and is the sole text in the artwork. Nothing else competes for attention, so the marker stays legible at every angle of the mug.

Meaning & Symbolism

Pentagonal and badge-style markers are the way state and regional highways are named across Brazil, and a number on one tells a traveller which route they are following. This piece takes that identifier, the state road 014 junction, and makes it the whole subject. It stands for the practical language of long-distance travel, where a single numeral is enough to point the way.

On the Mug

A mug is turned in the hand, so the marker wraps around the curve of the body and the number comes into view as the cup rotates. The C-handle sits on the opposite side, leaving the badge clear to read while you drink. The design suits a desk, a kitchen shelf or a travel companion who collects road-themed objects.
