Brasil estado 319 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) Color Changing Mug 11oz

This design takes the plain language of a road sign and gives it a clean, graphic presence: a single route marker, its numerals set bold and centred, and nothing else competing for attention.

Visual Elements & Composition

White dominates the artwork, covering most of the surface. A pentagonal route marker sits at the centre, outlined in black with a fine inner border that echoes its shape. Inside, the black numerals 319 do all the work. The layout is flat and vector-clean, with no ornament or texture, so the eye moves straight from the outline to the number. The only other tone is a faint light grey that supports the edges without drawing attention.

Meaning & Symbolism

Route markers are a form of navigation shorthand. A number on a shield tells a driver which road they are on and where it leads, and this piece borrows that logic. The words Brasil and estado place the sign within Brazil's state-level road network, while jct marks a junction, the point where one route meets another. The design reads as a modern, utilitarian sign, stripped back to its identifying elements.

Designed for the Hand

A mug is held and turned, so a route marker suits it well. As the mug warms, the faint design rises into full view, much like a sign that becomes legible as you approach it. Each turn of the cup brings the numerals round to meet the eye, making the sign feel like something you navigate rather than simply look at.
