Brasil estado 455 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) White Coffee Mug

Numeral 455 sits inside a black-bordered pentagon, rendered as a plain black-and-white vector badge.

Form & Contrast

The white ground takes up most of the image, and the black pentagon outline is thick enough to read as a solid badge. Inside, the bold black numerals are the only detail. The shape is regular and centred, so the composition feels ordered rather than busy. With just two colours and flat fills, the contrast between figure and ground is the whole design.

The Numbered Road

Pentagonal route badges like this one are how numbered roads are identified across a regional network. The number tells a driver which highway they are following, and the place name in the title anchors it to Brazil. Reduced to its numeral and frame, the sign becomes a neutral code, a reminder that much of everyday travel runs on small identifiers like this.

In the Hand

A mug is turned while it is drunk from, so a badge with a single centred numeral suits it well. The figures stay in view whichever way the handle faces, and the black outline gives the design a clean edge where it meets the white glaze, making it a steady companion for a morning coffee.
