Brasil estado 616 jct (Brazil) (Road Sign) White Coffee Mug

A black double-outlined pentagon carrying the numerals 616, a plain route marker drawn in flat vector on white.

Visual Elements & Composition

White makes up most of the design, with black used for the pentagon's double outline and the three numerals. The two outlines sit one inside the other and follow the same five-sided shape. The numerals 616 are centred and bold, and the drawing has no shading, so the outline and the figures are the entire image.

Meaning & Symbolism

The name places the marker in Brazil, and the word estado marks it as a state-level route. The number 616 is the designation on the sign. The pentagon is a route-marker outline, and the piece follows the modern signage tradition in which a simple shape and a number identify a road.

On the Ceramic Mug

A mug is turned in the hand, so the pentagon moves around the curve of the cup as it is rotated. The double outline stays crisp against the white ceramic, and the bold numerals stay readable from the side of the mug as the cup is turned.
