British East India Company flag (England) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design is the historical flag of the British East India Company, a field of red and white horizontal stripes with a cross-shaped canton in the upper corner.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red and white share the surface equally, laid out as horizontal stripes, generally between nine and thirteen in number. The canton in the upper hoist corner carries a cross, and that canton is the only element that breaks the stripe pattern. The palette is strictly red and white, and the flat vector treatment keeps the stripes evenly weighted and the cross sharply defined.

Meaning & Symbolism

The canton changed with the sovereign power behind the Company. It began as the Cross of St George for England, became the flag of Great Britain after 1707, and from 1801 to 1858 carried the Union Jack. The flag dates from the Royal Charter granted by Queen Elizabeth I in 1600, and it marks the Company's long role in India and East Asia until its authority passed to the British Crown in 1858.

Held Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the stripes wrap around the body of the glass and the canton sits near the rim when the glass is raised. The bold alternation of red and white reads clearly at that scale, and the stripes carry the eye around the curve.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
