British grenada get in green ensigns (Grenada) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A green-field ensign in the style of Grenada's colonial-era maritime flags, with a Union Jack, a sailing ship and mountains.

Visual Elements & Composition

Green covers most of the field, with blue, white and touches of red and brown in the Union Jack and the badge. The Union Jack sits in the canton, and a circular badge carries a sailing ship over ocean waves beneath a range of mountains. A line of inscription, CLARIOR E TENEBRIS, is visible on the artwork. The layout is flat and centred, with the ship and mountains doing most of the work.

Meaning & Symbolism

Under British rule, Grenada's flags were blue ensigns carrying a colony badge. The badge of 1903 to 1967 showed a ship and mountains, the two motifs that appear here, and the earlier badge of 1875 to 1903 showed a sugar cane mill. This artwork is a stylistic nod to that period, blending colonial symbolism with the island's seafaring and agricultural history, before the national flag was adopted on 7 February 1974.

A Shot Glass for a Colonial Ensign

A shot glass is small and held close, so the badge and the ship come into view one detail at a time as the glass is raised. The compact form suits a flag built around a single emblem, and the mountains sit neatly at the top of the glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
