Burgee of RCM Santander (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the burgee of the Real Club Marítimo de Santander, a yacht club on the northern Spanish coast, as a clean, flat-coloured pennant on a single small field.

Visual Elements & Composition

The pennant is built from bold blocks of red, blue, white and gold. A blue St. George's Cross sits across the field, and the register flag of the Maritime Province of Santander is layered beneath it, so the two emblems read together as one compact shape. A golden royal Spanish crown occupies the upper-left canton, giving the top corner a bright point of contrast against the red and white.

Meaning & Symbolism

The club was founded on 13 October 1927, and its burgee has served since then as the signal of membership, flown from member vessels and displayed at club facilities. The cross and provincial register speak to the club's roots in the Cantabrian maritime community, while the crown marks the royal patronage it received. Together the elements carry close to a century of Spanish yachting tradition.

Printed on a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the crown and cross are seen at arm's length, almost as a keepsake from a single sitting. The pennant's clear edges suit the narrow, straight-sided body of the 1.5oz glass, where the flag wraps the full circumference and reads from every angle as it is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
