Burgee of RCN Barcelona (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design renders the triangular burgee of the Real Club Náutico de Barcelona, a yacht-club flag built around a deep blue field and a centred royal coat of arms.

Visual Elements & Composition

Deep blue fills most of the pennant and sets the tone. In the canton sits the register ensign of Barcelona as it appeared in 1845, a quartered block of blue, white, yellow and red. The Royal Arms of Spain take the centre: a crowned quartered shield hung within a golden collar. Blue dominates the layout, and the gold and red of the arms stand out against it, with the flat vector style keeping every quarter crisp.

Meaning & Symbolism

The coat of arms is the form used between 1759 and 1931, so it links the club to the Spanish Crown across the reigns from Charles III to Alfonso XIII. The 1845 ensign of Barcelona records the city's maritime and administrative identity in that period. Together, the arms and the ensign show the club's royal patronage and its roots in one of Spain's great port cities.

Printed on a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the central shield is the first thing the eye finds, with the canton of quarters drawn in as the glass is turned. The triangular pennant wraps the straight sides of the 1.5oz glass, giving the blue field room to show the crown and the collar as one continuous scene.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
