Busto Arsizio-Gonfalone (Italy) Shot Glass 1.5oz

The ceremonial banner of Busto Arsizio in Lombardy, centred on a red-and-silver shield with two capital B's and a rising red flame, a symbol the city has carried since 1930.

Visual Elements & Composition

White dominates the banner, with gold, red, green and silver in smaller measure. The shield is split horizontally into red and silver, and a red flame rises from its base between the letters. Each B appears in one of the two shield colours. The gonfalon's lettering, CITTA' DI BUSTO ARSIZIO, runs across the banner, and an oak branch, a laurel branch, a mural crown and a ribbon bow frame the emblem in a flat vector finish.

Meaning & Symbolism

The flame carries the city's name, which comes from the Italian ardere, meaning to burn. It recalls a history of being destroyed by fire and rebuilt, and so stands for resilience. The heraldic design was officially granted on 4 November 1930, and the palette of red and silver gives the emblem a formal, historic character that speaks to civic identity and endurance.

Held Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield and its rising flame are read at close range, where the two B's and the fire are easy to pick out. The emblem sits centred on a tall banner, which suits the narrow, upright form of a shot glass. Clear glass leaves the crest on show with nothing around it to pull the eye away.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
