Busto Garolfo-Gonfalone (Italy) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design takes the ceremonial banner of Busto Garolfo, a municipality in the Lombardy region of Italy, and renders it as a clean, flat-vector emblem.

Visual Elements & Composition

The banner is split horizontally into two broad fields, white above and red below, and the red dominates the composition. Centred on the drape sits a shield divided in the same red and silver, crowned and framed by a laurel wreath with a scrolled border. The emblem carries the word COMUNE above the place name BUSTO GAROLFO, with a small DI between them, all set in a restrained, legible layout.

Meaning & Symbolism

The shield is drawn from the heraldry of the ancient da Busti family, a Lombard line whose arms shaped the local civic identity. The horizontal division, known in heraldry as troncato, gives the shield its strong two-tone structure. At its heart is an uppercase letter B, split in colour so that each half matches the opposite field. That single letter ties the family's lineage to the town itself, and the banner carries it into the modern municipal emblem.

Made for This Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the banner reads as a detail you notice on a single pour. The bold red and white and the central shield stay legible at that scale, turning each glass into a small piece of Lombard heraldry on the bar.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
