CHE Leuk Flag (Switzerland) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A gold griffin rears on a bold red square, gripping a silver sword in one forepaw, in this flat vector flag of Leuk in Valais.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red covers about three-fifths of the design and gives the flag its strength. Gold yellow takes up roughly a third, mostly in the griffin itself, which fills the centre as a single dominant figure. The griffin has a winged body and eagle talons, and the silver sword in its forepaw adds a sharp vertical line against the red. White and black appear only in small touches. The layout is a square with one central figure, and nothing else competes for attention.

Meaning & Symbolism

The griffin is taken from the coat of arms of Leuk, the district and municipality that the flag represents. In Swiss municipal heraldry the griffin is a guardian figure, a mythic animal with the body of a lion and the wings and talons of an eagle, and it stands for the local area and its history. The sword held in its paw adds the note of defence and authority that runs through much of European civic heraldry. The flag belongs to Leuk in the canton of Valais, a local emblem set apart from the national banner.

Shaped for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the griffin is seen up near the eye rather than from across a room. Its bold outline and the strong red field read clearly at that size, and the figure sits well on the narrow, rounded face of the glass, with the sword running upward as the glass is lifted.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
