Chetnik flag Vukovar (Serbia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design renders the Chetnik banner in a severe two-tone scheme, its white skull and crossbones and inscription standing out against an almost entirely black field.

Visual Elements & Composition

The black ground fills about 85 percent of the artwork, leaving white for the skull, the crossed bones and the lettering. The motif is set in a heraldic-style framing with the emblem at the centre and the inscription placed beneath it. The visible words are СЛОБОДА ИЛИ СМРТ. Flat vector shapes and high contrast make the symbols read clearly, even at the small size of a shot glass.

Meaning & Symbolism

The title ties the flag to Vukovar, a city in eastern Croatia whose siege in 1991 was one of the bloodiest battles of the Croatian War of Independence. Serbian paramilitary forces that used Chetnik imagery took part in that fighting, which is why the banner is strongly associated with the conflict. The skull and the words Freedom or Death express a vow of self-sacrifice in the nationalist language of the time, and the design is best understood as a record of that history.

How It Sits in the Hand

A shot glass is held close and raised quickly, so the skull is the first thing the eye meets and the lettering is read a line at a time. The curve of the glass wraps the inscription around the surface, and the black field gives the white marks a sharp edge against the clear glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
