Circular emblem of the Kingdom of Tibet (China) Shot Glass 1.5oz

The circular emblem is a flat vector roundel of two snow lions on a mountain, a rising sun behind them and three-coloured swirls below, set on blue and white.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red, blue and yellow carry most of the design, with white and a touch of green for the mountains and details. The composition is radial: the sun's rays fan out from behind the snow-capped peak, and the two lions are placed symmetrically on either side of it. The swirls sit in the lower part of the circle, and a flaming jewel and a yin-yang form appear among the symbols. There is no text or numerals.

Meaning & Symbolism

The snow lions stand for strength and fearlessness and for the spiritual and secular authority associated with Tibet. The rising sun represents freedom, happiness and prosperity, and the three-coloured swirls refer to the Buddhist trinity and spiritual guidance. The emblem was used by the Tibetan government before 1951, and the design is a window onto the traditional culture, religion and governance of that era.

Shaped for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the circle is read at arm's length as the glass is lifted, with the lions and sun at the centre of the view. The radial rays stay clear within the narrow frame, and the red and blue show through the clear glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
