Civil Ensign of British Honduras 1919-1981 (Belize) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the civil ensign of British Honduras as it flew from 1919 to 1981, the longer-running version of the territory's flag before it became Belize.

Visual Elements & Composition

Crimson red makes up most of the flag, with navy blue and white at the edges and small accents of gold yellow and sea teal. The Union Jack sits in the canton, keeping the flag within the British ensign tradition. A shield badge on the fly carries a three-masted sailing ship, with crossed tools and a small Union Jack set inside it. Diagonal lines cross the badge, giving the emblem a structured, heraldic look in flat vector style.

Meaning & Symbolism

The ship in the shield points to the maritime trade that sustained the territory, and the crossed tools stand for the working life of its people. The small Union Jack inside the badge repeats the colony's British allegiance. The ensign covers more than six decades of administration, through to 1981, the year the territory took the name Belize and moved toward independence.

Holding the Badge Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield and its crossed tools come into view as the glass is raised. The crimson field reads strongly through clear glass, and the ship stays clear at close range. Each pour puts a detailed slice of Belizean colonial heritage right at your fingertips.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
