CNT FAI flag (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A bold diagonal flag split between red and black, carrying the initials C.N.T. and F.A.I. in white.

Visual Elements & Composition

Black covers a little more than half of the surface and red fills the rest, divided by a single diagonal line running across the rectangle. The split gives the flag its strong directional energy, and the two fields meet in a clean, sharp edge. The organisation initials appear in white, the only other colour in the design. The flat vector style keeps the shapes simple and the lettering easy to read at a glance.

Meaning & Symbolism

The red field is associated with syndicalism and the workers' movement, the organisation known as the CNT. The black field is associated with anarchism, the organisation known as the FAI. The flag was first publicly displayed on 1 May 1931 and became a prominent emblem during the Spanish Civil War, from 1936 to 1939. It stands as a historical record of the anarchist and labour movements of that era in Spain.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the diagonal split is seen at arm's length in a single glance. The red and black fields show clearly through the clear walls, and the initials sit near the middle of the glass where they are easiest to read. It makes a historically rooted piece of drinkware for anyone interested in that period of Spanish history.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
