Coat of arms of the Margraviate of Moravia (Wenceslaus II) - Shot Glass 1.5oz

A pointed heater shield in flat vector style presents the historic arms of the Margraviate of Moravia, dominated by a chequered eagle on a slate teal field.

Visual Elements & Composition

Slate teal covers the largest share of the shield, and the checkered red and white eagle stands out against it. The eagle's crest of fan-shaped feathers rises above a helm with mantling, which crowns the shield. Olive and black appear in the helm and outlines, while the red and white checkerboard pattern gives the emblem its strongest visual rhythm.

Meaning & Symbolism

The eagle is the emblem's central charge, standing for sovereignty, strength and vigilance. The arms date from around 1182 and were used with variations until the dissolution of the Habsburg Monarchy in 1918. They represent Moravia, the eastern land of the Bohemian Crown, whose historical capital was Brno, and the emblem records centuries of governance in that region.

Fitting the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the chequered eagle is seen up near the eye as the glass is lifted. The pointed heater shield suits the glass's narrow, rounded body, and the helm and crest stay clear as the glass is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
