Crest of Lisboa (Unofficial) Shot Glass Design

This shot glass showcases the iconic "unofficial" crest, also known as the Coat of Arms, of Lisbon, Portugal. The design prominently features a gold (or) shield as its base.

Visual Elements and Symbolism

At the heart of the design is a black sailing ship (sable), meticulously lined in silver (argent). The ship sails upon a sea represented by seven wavy stripes – four vibrant green (vert) and three shimmering silver/white (argent) bands. The ship's presence directly symbolizes Lisbon's rich maritime heritage and its historical role as a significant port city.

On either side of the ship, two black ravens (sable, lined argent) face inward, guarding the vessel. According to local legend, these ravens accompanied and protected the relics of Saint Vincent of Saragossa as they were transported to Lisbon. The ravens, though not prevalent in modern Lisbon, are a key symbol of the city's identity.

Above the shield, a gold mural crown with five visible towers signifies Lisbon’s status as a capital city. Surrounding the shield is the prestigious collar of the Order of the Tower and Sword, denoting the city's honor and loyalty.

Beneath the shield, a scroll bears the proud motto: “MUI NOBRE E SEMPRE LEAL CIDADE DE LISBOA” ("Most Noble and Always Loyal City of Lisbon"). This design element reinforces the city's esteemed history and unwavering dedication.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
