Drapeau révolutionnaire 2 (Belgium) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design is a horizontal tricolour of three equal bands, red over white over blue, drawn flat and crisp in the style of an early revolutionary banner.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three horizontal bands share the field equally, each taking roughly a third of the surface. Red sits at the top, white in the centre and deep blue along the bottom, so the eye reads the design as one stacked rectangle of colour. There is no lettering, no emblem and no ornament to compete with the bands. The strength of the piece lies in that restraint: three colours, three stripes, and a clean edge all round.

Meaning & Symbolism

The Drapeau révolutionnaire was the banner of the Belgian Revolution, which began in August 1830, and it came before the black, yellow and red national flag that the country later adopted. Its composition borrows directly from the French Tricolour, a reflection of the French Revolution's influence and of the shared ideals of liberty that moved the insurgents. Carrying that French-derived palette was a statement about where the nation was heading, toward independence and self-determination.

On the Shot Glass

A shot is a small, quick moment, raised and tipped back in one go, so this flag is seen up close and at eye level, the bands sitting right at the lip of the glass. Every time the glass is lifted, the tricolour is the first thing in view, which makes it a fitting toast to a revolutionary spirit. It is a cheeky way to keep a bit of 1830 on the bar cart.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
