This design reproduces the historical flag of the County of Nice, a heraldic emblem from southeastern France built around a red eagle on a white field.

Visual Elements & Composition

White dominates the design, covering most of the field and giving the red eagle room to stand out. The eagle is crimson, with its wings spread wide across the centre of a shield. Beneath it, three green hills rise in a row, and blue wavy bars run along the base. A gold crown with flowers sits above the eagle, framed by green laurel branches that curve around the shield.
