Dronten Coat of Arms Shot Glass Design

This shot glass showcases the official coat of arms of the municipality of Dronten, located in the Flevoland province of the Netherlands. The design is a vibrant representation of the town's history, community, and agricultural roots.

Shield Composition

The central element is the shield, bisected by a wavy horizontal line, symbolizing the water and land reclamation of the area. The upper portion, rendered in azure blue, features a silver fleur-de-lis, a nod to Cornelis Lely, the engineer after whom Dronten was named.

The lower half of the shield, colored gold, displays three interwoven red rings. These represent the three villages that make up the municipality: Dronten, Biddinghuizen, and Swifterbant, symbolizing unity and community.

Over the interwoven rings, a black vertical “meerpaal” (lake-pile) rises from the base of the shield. This is a unique heraldic element that signifies the cultural center "De Meerpaal" within Dronten.

External Embellishments

Above the shield sits a golden crown, adorned with three leaves and two pearls. Supporting the shield are two black horses with raised tails. These horses represent the agricultural character of Dronten, reflecting the area’s focus on farming and the rural landscape.

This entire composition is set upon a white pedestal, adding a final touch to the complete armorial design.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
