Escudo del Municipio de Pitalito Shot Glass Design

This shot glass showcases the official Coat of Arms of Pitalito, a Colombian municipality in the Huila Department. The design, meticulously crafted by master Tomás Palomares Serrato, is a visual representation of the town's rich history, geography, and cultural identity.

Design Elements and Symbolism

The shield itself, rendered in classic Spanish shield form, is the central focus. The background, a vibrant green (sínople), reflects the lush valley where Pitalito resides.

A prominent horizontal band of light blue (celeste) cuts across the shield, symbolizing the lifeblood of the region: the Magdalena, Guachicos, and Guarapas rivers, as well as the serene Laguna de Guaitipá.

A striking yellow (gold) clay jar is depicted, paying tribute to the renowned Laboyana pottery, a cornerstone of the local artistic heritage. Alongside the jar, a silver horseshoe serves as an emblem of the annual Artisan and Equestrian Fair, a celebration of regional tradition.

The image also includes a guayaba fruit with two leaves, a symbol of the local agricultural bounty, especially the guava cultivated in the area. Above the jar is a silver potter's wheel, on which we find the inscription "San Antonio de Laboyos", along with the year "1818" when Pitalito was founded.

Finally, the design is completed with two white hands that support the potter's wheel. These hands represent the camaraderie and industriousness of the people of Pitalito.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
