Flag of Baton Rouge Louisiana (United States) Shot Glass 1.5oz

The official flag of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a crimson field carrying a heraldic shield and the city's name in white script.

Visual Elements & Composition

Crimson red fills most of the horizontal flag, so the design reads as one bold colour from across a room. In the lower-left corner sits a navy-edged heraldic shield, which holds the historical emblems of three European powers. The city's name, Baton Rouge, runs across the field in flowing white cursive. White and navy are kept to small accents, so the red and the script do the work.

Meaning & Symbolism

The crimson field recalls the "red sticks", red-painted poles set up by Native Americans along the Mississippi River, and the city takes its name from them. The shield records the European powers that governed the region: a fleur-de-lis for France, a castle for Spain and the Kingdom of Castile, and the pre-1801 Union Flag for Great Britain. Adopted on 13 December 1995, the flag brings the Indigenous roots and the layered colonial history of the Louisiana capital into one emblem.

Built for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield and script read at arm's length, almost in the palm. The crimson field shows through the clear glass as a rich, saturated band, and the white lettering stands out cleanly against it.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
