Flag of Belize WFB 2004 (Belize) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A crisp rendering of Belize's national banner, drawn to the layout used in the 2004 World Factbook, with the full armorial badge set in the centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

The bands are arranged in three horizontal stripes, with a broad blue field filling the middle and crimson stripes bordering it. A white circle sits at the heart of the blue, holding the coat of arms. Inside that circle, a shield shows a sailing ship, a saw and axes, and a mahogany tree grows at the side. Two shirtless figures hold axes over their shoulders at the base, and a laurel wreath wraps the badge. A scroll reads SUB UMBRA FLOREO. Every element is drawn with flat colour and clean edges.

Meaning & Symbolism

The mahogany tree and the axe-wielding figures recall the logwood and timber trades that gave the territory much of its early economy. The ship in the shield points to the maritime links that connected the coast to the wider world. The motto, SUB UMBRA FLOREO, means roughly "under the shade, I flourish", a line that sums up the country's pride in its own growth. The design reflects the colonial-era heritage that runs through the national emblem.

On a Shot Glass, Seen at Close Range

A shot glass sits at eye level, so the badge is viewed directly and from a short distance. The laurel wreath and scroll are close enough to read as the glass is lifted and turned. Because the glass is clear, the drink and the flag share the same view, which gives the emblem a lively presence on a bar cart or shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
