Flag of Bentheim Germany - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Bentheim, Germany, is a banner of arms that serves as the official symbol for the county of Bentheim. The flag consists of three horizontal stripes arranged from top to bottom in the colors green, white, and red. The upper hoist quarter (the quadrant nearest the staff) contains the coat of arms of the Principality of Bentheim, which features a black eagle displayed with spread wings holding a golden key in its beak. This flag was officially adopted on October 14, 1953, and it represents the historical county that is now divided between Germany and the Netherlands. The current design reflects the flag used during the time when Bentheim was under the rule of the Principality from 1606 to 1702.
