Flag of Csehi (Hungary) Pint Glass 16oz

This design reproduces the flag of Csehi, a village in Vas County, western Hungary, built directly from the municipality's coat of arms.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue and silver take up most of the design, with blue as the dominant field and silver filling much of the remainder. A vertical bicolour structure sets up the layout, and a shield sits at its centre. Smaller touches of red, green and white add contrast without competing with the main colours. The style is flat vector, with clean edges and no shading, so every emblem reads clearly. The word CSEHI appears as the only visible text.

Meaning & Symbolism

The emblems on the shield are drawn from the village's traditional arms. A church stands for the community and its faith, while the grape bunch points to the local vineyard tradition and the wheat sheaf to the fields that sustained the village. The laurel and oak branches signal honour and endurance, and the ribbon ties the elements together. Iván Bertényi and György Feiszt documented the flag in their 2004 publication Vas megye címerei és zászlai, which records the heraldry of the county's communities. The design belongs to the tradition of European municipal heraldry, where a single flag carries a village's history and pride.

On the Mixing Glass

A flag is a design you see from the front and at a distance. On a glass, it wraps around a curved surface and only resolves when you lift it, turning the shield and its emblems toward your eye. Each time the glass is held, the church, grapes, wheat and branches pass by in sequence, so the flag is read in pieces rather than all at once. It is a fitting pairing for a tradition of heraldry, given to someone who appreciates the stories behind a village's symbols.

Clear 16 oz (≈0.47 L) pint glasses made from solid glass with a heavy base for steady placement. Narrower at the bottom for an easier grip and balanced feel — durable, dishwasher-safe, and ideal for both serving and mixing.

These pints are crafted from 100% clear glass that showcases the drink inside — color, clarity and carbonation are all visible. A heavier, solid base reduces tipping and gives the glass a satisfying weight in the hand while the gently tapered body makes holding and carrying more comfortable.

Built to last, the construction resists chipping under normal use and is suitable for busy service environments as well as retail display. One-sided print work reads bright against the clear surface; the overall aesthetic is clean and modern.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and gloss.
  • Capacity: 16 oz (standard U.S. pint / ≈0.47 L).
  • Base: heavy solid glass base reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Shape: narrower bottom for a comfortable grip and easier carrying.
  • Durability: dishwasher-safe and built for regular use.

Use these glasses for draft pours, mixed drinks, iced beverages and more. Their clear walls show off color and bubbles, which makes them a great choice for menus, tasting flights, and bars where presentation matters.

  1. Serving: ideal for beers, sodas, iced teas and cocktails served cold.
  2. Mixing: also works as a simple mixing glass for shaken or stirred cocktails in casual settings.
  3. Display: clean silhouette fits behind bars, on shelves, or on retail racks.

Quick tip: because the base is heavier, these glasses feel stable on trays and counters — handy when serving multiple drinks at once.

These glasses are dishwasher-safe; place them on the top rack and use a regular household cycle. For best longevity, avoid stacking them tightly and steer clear of high-heat commercial wash cycles when possible.

Hand wash with warm water and mild dish soap when you want to preserve maximum clarity and avoid sudden temperature shocks. Handle by the body, not just the rim, to reduce the chance of accidental chipping.
