Flag of Fukushima Hokkaido (Japan) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A bright yellow flag with a blue and white emblem set at its centre, a design that reads like sunlight over water.

Visual Elements & Composition

Yellow covers most of the field, which gives the flag a warm, open feel. The emblem is blue and white and sits in the middle, built from curved and circular forms that interlock with one another. Its outline is stylised rather than literal, so the eye takes in the shape as a whole. The palette is limited to three colours, and the flat vector finish keeps every edge sharp.

Meaning & Symbolism

This is the municipal flag of Fukushima Town in Oshima Subprefecture, on the Hokkaido coast of northern Japan. It was adopted on 3 November 1975. The yellow field stands for the sun, and the blue and white emblem stands for the sea, the sky and the land of the north. The emblem is a stylised form of the katakana for Fukushima, shaped to suggest a fishing boat, which ties the design to the town's maritime heritage and to its place in the region.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the emblem is seen at eye level as the glass comes up, with the yellow filling the view around it. The gold reads brightly through the clear glass, and the blue and white lines stay distinct at a size that suits the glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
