Flag of Higashikagawa Kagawa (Japan) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the emblem of Higashikagawa City in Kagawa Prefecture: a pair of stylised wings in royal blue and green, joined by a central circle.

Visual Elements & Composition

White makes up just over half the design, with royal blue on the upper right and green on the upper left. The wings spread outward in a V shape with a curled base, and a connecting circle sits between them. Each wing is built from flat vector blades, and the arrangement is balanced and symmetrical, with no text or numerals. The blue and green wings give the mark its clear two-part structure.

Meaning & Symbolism

The emblem is a stylised form of the hiragana character ひ (hi), the initial of the city's name, so the letter is built into the wings. The wings express the city's ambition to soar toward the future. Each wing carries three feathers, and so does the circle, to commemorate the merger of three former towns, Hiketa, Shiratori and Ochi, which took effect on 1 April 2003. The mark therefore records regional unity and the city's own history.

Holding the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the emblem sits at eye level as the glass is raised. The blue and green wings read clearly against the white at that range, and the central circle lines up with the round base of the glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
