Flag of Santiago del Estero Province Argentina - Color Changing Coffee Mug

The Flag of Santiago del Estero Province, Argentina, is a rectangular bicolor flag divided diagonally from the upper hoist-side corner to the lower fly-side corner by an isosceles triangle. The top half of the flag, occupying approximately 53% of its area, is solid white, symbolizing peace and purity. The bottom half is light blue, representing the sky and the river Dulce (Sweet), which flows through the province. In the center of the white section, a yellow and red sun with eight rays, known as the Sun of May, is displayed. This sun represents the first inti Raymi (Inca's feast of the Sun) celebrated in Santiago del Estero after its liberation from Spanish rule. The flag was officially adopted on September 16, 1958.
