Flag of the Princely State of Loharu (India) Shot Glass 1.5oz

Green and yellow divide this flag of Loharu, a nine-gun-salute Nawabi state of the Punjab States Agency that was ruled by a Muslim noble line.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is a horizontal bicolour, with green and yellow sharing the rectangle in equal halves. The two bands meet along a single straight line, and nothing else appears on the surface, so the flag is clean and flat. The contrast between the deep green and the bright yellow does all the work, and the layout reads instantly from a short distance. There is no lettering or ornament to compete with the colour blocks.

Meaning & Symbolism

Loharu was founded in 1803 by Ahmad Baksh Khan, a noble of Central Asian origin from Bokhara who served the Mughals and the British East India Company. The state was ruled by a line of Muslim Nawabs and covered some 570 square kilometres in 1901. Its last ruler, Nawab Amin ud-din Ahmad Khan, reigned from 1926 until the state acceded to the Union of India in 1947. The flag recalls that Indo-Islamic princely heritage and the regional rule of a small but historic realm near Delhi.

Held in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the two bands sit at eye level as the glass is raised and show their edge clearly against the rim. The simple split suits a narrow, rounded surface, since the line between green and yellow runs cleanly around the glass without needing fine detail. It is a crisp, dignified piece of regional history for a home bar shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
