Flag of the Princely State of Ratlam (India) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat vector banner split into two equal horizontal bands, green above yellow, with a clean striped rhythm across its rectangle.

Visual Elements & Composition

Green and yellow share the field evenly, each taking half the surface, so neither colour dominates. The division runs horizontally, which gives the design a steady, level structure. The edges are crisp and the colour fields are solid, with no lettering or numerals to interrupt the stripes.

Meaning & Symbolism

Ratlam was a Rathore Rajput state in the Malwa region of central India, in present-day Madhya Pradesh. Its founder, Raja Ratan Singh Rathore, received the territory around 1652 from the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in gratitude for saving the emperor’s life. Shah Jahan also granted him the rank of commander of 3,000 horse and the fish insignia, the Mahi Maratib, a mark of honour the flag’s bands recall in their plain, martial simplicity. Ratlam ranked as a 13-gun-salute state within the Malwa Agency during the British Raj.

Carrying the Stripes to the Glass

Horizontal bands sit well on a curved surface, because each stripe wraps round the glass as a continuous line. On a 1.5oz shot glass the green and yellow bands meet the eye at close range as the glass is lifted, a small and direct way to keep a piece of Rajput history in view.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
