Flag of the Princely State of Sailana (India) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A bold flat vector pennant in red and white, cut to a single triangle set against a plain rectangular field.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red and white are the only colours, and they divide the design almost evenly. The triangular pennant is the dominant form, its sharp point giving the composition a strong diagonal thrust, while the rectangular ground keeps the layout simple and uncluttered. The style is flat and graphic, with solid colour and crisp edges throughout.

Meaning & Symbolism

Sailana was a Rathore Rajput state in the Malwa region of present-day Madhya Pradesh. Raja Jai Singh founded it in 1736 as a branch of the Rathore house of Ratlam, since he was a great-grandson of Maharaja Ratan Singh, the founder of Ratlam. By 1867 Sailana ranked as an eleven-gun state, and it acceded to the Union of India in June 1948. Red has long carried martial and dynastic weight in Rajput heraldry, and the bold pennant form speaks to that warrior tradition.

A Pennant for the Hand

A triangular pennant reads as a single, pointed shape, and on a 1.5oz shot glass that point sits in plain view as the glass is raised. The red and white fields are close enough to take in at a glance, so the design lands quickly and clearly, the way a banner is meant to.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
